Privacy
This site uses privacy-preserving, first-party analytics to understand how the blog is found and used.
- Measures visit times, page routes, active visible time, maximum content depth, coarse referral hosts, and link clicks.
- Uses a random identifier stored only in the current browser tab to connect pages within one visit. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or when the tab session ends.
- Stores only a SHA-256 hash of that temporary identifier. Raw visit, page, and click records are deleted after 30 days; aggregate daily counts may be retained for longer-term trends.
- Does not store IP addresses, full referral URLs, referral query strings, analytics cookies, persistent visitor profiles, fingerprints, cross-site activity, ad profiles, or session replays.
- Can identify a same-tab internal, external, or email-link navigation. Closing a tab, using Back, or typing another address is reported only as an unknown exit.
